Ezy Reading:
To The End
Evan Kanarakis

There is a road not far from here
It seems to spill into the sea

A blue ocean unlike anything I'd seen before
Of frothing, flowing waves gently lapping upon the coastline
A rugged mess of twisted boulders and daggered rocks
Unchanged since ships first caught site of land
So many years ago

Tall pines dot the cliffs
And mark the way

Along the road
That dusty road of sand and stones
Reaching out from the heart of New England
Into an ocean of oblivion
With no paths to guide me home
