Ezy Reading:
On The B-Line
Evan Kanarakis

Breaking down
These long hours take their toll
Another late night
Another late train

The old souls that inhabit this line
I wonder where they go?
Riding rails that stretch out
Into the ether that lies ahead

We're kindred spirits
All wandering, aimless
Convinced we're on the way
To that land of milk and honey

But with each passing day
Dreams become the stuff of reckless youth
I shrug my shoulders, shake off the tired
And catch that lonely train to Paradise
